Here you will find all the information you will need to attend the upcoming club events.  Check the Club calendar below for events happening this month.
All STHARC runs start from QBN Girl Guides Hall 36 Erin St QBN unless otherwise advised. For all runs BYO chairs, tables, picnic ware, drinks, food & sunscreen unless otherwise advised.
All Sunday runs (first Sunday after club meeting) meet at QBN Girl Guides Hall 36 Erin St QBN at 9.00 am for 9.30 am departure. 
Note: not all months are finalized – always space for more events. Contact the Committee if you want to add an event.
REMEMBER If the old dear lets you down or is a bit uncomfortable, you can still attend Club Events in a modern vehicle.

Ladies and Gents Morning Teas

As the Covid restrictions gradually ease, we can begin to have our monthly morning teas once again, given the correct protocols.

A morning tea for both ladies and gents will be held at 10.00am on Friday, 26 February 2021 at Red Baron Café, 2 Faulding Street, Symonston.

There is plenty of room inside and outside this café for us to have our separate tables.

Faulding Street is off Canberra Avenue, Fyshwick.  There is some parking at the front of the café (tight spaces) and there is a large carpark at the rear of the café, however, it is pay parking ($1 per hour).  The pay parking area is huge and you could safely park your club cars with probably nobody beside you.

As Christine has taken on the treasurer’s position with the club, this will be the final morning tea organised by Tony and Christine Brown.

If you would like to see these morning teas continue (and they have always been a popular event), please put up your hand and have your turn at doing something for your club.   

Wheels of Wamboin Saturday 17 April 2020 from 9.00am to 1.00pm.
After all the dramas of 2020 we are super happy to announce the date for the 2021 Wheels of Wamboin. Next year’s event will be held on Saturday 17 April 2020 from 9.00am to 1.00pm.
Hopefully by this date the world will be good and fully functioning again. So please pencil in your diaries (or put in your phone calendar) and start polishing and fixing those little niggles for the run to Wamboin.

With recent changes to COVID-19 restrictions, the Temora Aviation Museum is pleased to release additional tickets to the Temora Air Force Centenary Showcase, on 6 & 7 March, 2021.

We know that some of you missed out on the first release, so we are offering you another chance.

These are the 2 Day Premium tickets at $140 plus ticketing fees.

Event Description
The Temora Air Force Centenary Showcase will include displays from more than 50 aircraft, including the RAAF Historic Collection at Temora, visiting private Warbird aircraft and current serving RAAF assets.

2021 is a significant year, marking the centenary of RAAF, as well as the 20th anniversary of the Temora Aviation Museum, and this air show will be a celebration of both!

The event’s premium area will be split into three smaller enclosures to ensure COVID requirements are met. All three areas initially on sale are in a premium location, with a direct line of site to the flightline.

Food, beverages and merchandise will be available on-site

Gates Open 9am, flying starts approximately 11am
Flying ends approximately 4:30pm, gates close 5pm
Ticket Area Descriptions

There is very limited seating available in all areas, so visitors are advised to bring their own chairs.

Area A (Capacity 270) Pink
This area has the only covered area on-site, with approximately half of the area situated under the display hangar awning. Please bring your own chair.

Area B (Capacity 105) Dark Purple
This area consists of a small grandstand with bench seats, and a grassed area situated in front of the grandstand. Please note you cannot reserve seats in the grandstand. The Grandstand is limited to 40 spectators to align with COVID restrictions. Please bring your own chair.

Area C (Capacity 375) Red
This is a large grass area including 10 picnic tables. Please bring your own chair.

General Admission (Capacity 2,250) Yellow
This area is situated between Bartondale Rd and the Museum Display Hangar (excluding the Premium Area. Please bring your own chair

A maximum of 10 tickets are permitted to be purchased in one transaction

Camping Information
You can purchase camping tickets in the same transaction as your event tickets.

Camping will be available for Friday 5th & Saturday 6th March 2021, with unpowered sites still available.

Premium tickets will be available to purchase from Friday 27th at 10am (Sydney time). Please note, due to COVID restrictions, tickets are limited and will sell quickly.
