SUN 6th

Terribly British Day, Car & Bike Show (NSW)

10:00 am to 2:30 pm Town Park Queanbeyan.

Please contact Horsch if you wish to attend. It is especially important that members provide details to organisers to facilitate NSW COVID compliance.

I would still like some name & numbers for the day.
This year we are collecting $$ for Respite Care in Queanbeyan, and VIctor the Viking (Raiders mascot) will be on hand to collect $$.
We have an NSW Health approved Covid Plan, and will have sign in sheets & hand sanitiser around the venue.

Sun 13th
Christmas Barbeque.

With continual changes to COVID restrictions it is now feasible to run, on a restricted basis, club events in the open in N.S.W.

STHARC Christmas Barbeque Sunday 13th Burra private event

Following consultation within the Committee it has been decided to change the Christmas barbeque venue.

The Christmas Barbeque will now be held in Burra at Hugh Spencer and Bev Lang’s property. This will be an outdoor event. Shade will be provided. There is plenty of space for children and a game of cricket is also possible.

Numbers are limited to 50 at private property in NSW under COVID rules.

So please contact the Event Director via email or phone to secure your place.

When: Meet at the Club House at 10:00 for 10:30 departure. John Corbett will lead the way. Apart from some moderate road works on Burra Road the route is sealed. So please bring your old vehicle.

Club will provide sausages, onions, blankets and sauce and shade and sanitiser.

Please Bring: salads, desserts and drinks for yourselves. At this stage of COVID we will still not be sharing private food. Sausages served under “Bunning’s rules”.

And please bring a suitable table and folding chairs for your party.

Santa is still under Quarantine at present as the Reindeer are not happy with being restricted with Santa for 14 days. So, it is not envisaged that Santa will be attending.

All members must use hand sanitiser please and bring sense of humour.

Do not come if you have any possible symptoms or have been potentially exposed to COVID19

Ladies and Gents Morning Teas

Friday, 26 February 2021

As the Covid restrictions gradually ease, we can begin to have our monthly morning teas once again, given the correct protocols.

A morning tea for both ladies and gents will be held at 10.00am on Friday, 26 February 2021 at Red Baron Café, 2 Faulding Street, Symonston.

There is plenty of room inside and outside this café for us to have our separate tables.

Faulding Street is off Canberra Avenue, Fyshwick.  There is some parking at the front of the café (tight spaces) and there is a large carpark at the rear of the café, however, it is pay parking ($1 per hour).  The pay parking area is huge and you could safely park your club cars with probably nobody beside you.

As Christine has taken on the treasurer’s position with the club, this will be the final morning tea organised by Tony and Christine Brown.

If you would like to see these morning teas continue (and they have always been a popular event), please put up your hand and have your turn at doing something for your club.

Wheels of Wamboin Saturday 17 April 2020 from 9.00am to 1.00pm.
After all the dramas of 2020 we are super happy to announce the date for the 2021 Wheels of Wamboin. Next year’s event will be held on Saturday 17 April 2020 from 9.00am to 1.00pm.
Hopefully by this date the world will be good and fully functioning again. So please pencil in your diaries (or put in your phone calendar) and start polishing and fixing those little niggles for the run to Wamboin.
