Here you will find all the information you will need to attend the upcoming club events.  Check the Club calendar below for events happening this month.
All STHARC runs start from QBN Girl Guides Hall 36 Erin St QBN unless otherwise advised. For all runs BYO chairs, tables, picnic ware, drinks, food & sunscreen unless otherwise advised.
Mid-Week runs meet at the Guide Hallhalf day run meet at 1.15pm and leave at 1.30pm. Full day run meet at 10am and leave 10.15am, unless otherwise advised. Note: not all months are finalized – always space for more events. Contact the Committee if you want to add an event.
REMEMBER If the old dear lets you down or is a bit uncomfortable, you can still attend Club Events in a modern vehicle.

STHARC EVENTS June – August 2019


Fri 28th  Ladies Morning Tea 10am @ Vanilla Pod Café.  This café is located in the food court area of Riverside Plaza, Queanbeyan. Christine Brown     0412442623
Fri 28th  Mens Morning Tea 10am @ Café 111. Located at 111 Monaro Street, Queanbeyan, next to Beyond Bank (outside Riverside Plaza). Tony Brown 0431539354


Fri 12th-Sat 13th Over night trip to Braidwood. Rock n’ Roll night at Servicemen’s Club, including dinner. 6.30 dinner, show starts 8pm.  Saturday morning meet at Motel for trip to cheese factory for morning tea $15 per head then to Araluen pub for lunch then head home.

Cost: Dinner and show $60 per person and motel $115 twin share.

Accommodation: Max has 5 rooms on hold for STHARC at the Colonial Motel in Braidwood so he needs numbers ASAP.  This event is in conjunction with the Braidwood Motor Club.

Fri 26th Ladies Morning Tea 10am @  Bean & Table, 3/2 Trevillian Quay, Kingston.  This café is on the waterfront, closer to the Glassworks end of the Foreshore.  There is two hour free parking along Eastlake Parade, or pay parking near the Glassworks, if you intend to stay longer. Sat 27th

Club Presentation Dinner. To be held at the Golden Age Motel 56/58 Macquoid St, East Queanbeyan NSW.  Buffet meal. Cost: $30 per person ($60 per couple). Trophys will be presented, always a good night.

Sat 3rd

Nelligen Car and Bike Show. Hosted by Bungendore Car Club and The River Cafe Nelligen  The show will start at the “OLD STEAMPACKET HOTEL”, on the Clyde River Waterfront.
After the show we plan on cruising to The Steam Packet Hotel for presentation, live music for the afternoon and evening.
B.A.D CAR CLUB are happy to be able to be involved in this event and contribute to the community of Nelligen.

21st &22nd September 2019.  Clarendon Classic Machinery, Truck & Hobby Show. The themes for 2019 are: Machinery over 100 years old and anything made by FIAT.  Information Link Sydney Antique Machinery Club 

Saturday 21st – Sunday 22nd September  Queanbeyan Swap Meet. Queanbeyan Showground., plus on Sunday 22nd The American Car Nationals and The Big 3 Car Show,  See swap meet website for more information.

Sites (6×6 metres) $20.00 per day.   Limited indoor sites available. $50 for 2 days  Setup from midday Friday onwards.  Book online or call 0427 267 927 between 6pm and 9pm.  Gates open to buyers 6:00am Saturday and 8:00am Sunday.  General Public entry day is $4 per person per day (includes entry to car show on Sunday). Children under 14 free.   Food & drink sales by pre-approved vendors only.

American Car Nationals   Sunday 22 September 2019. Run in conjunction with the Big 3 Car Show. $4.00 per person. No extra cost to enter your car. Lots of trophies on offer. Judging commences at 10:30am. Trophy presentation 2pm

Big 3 Car Show  FORD – GENERAL MOTORS – CHRYSLER Sunday 22nd September 2019. Queanbeyan Showground. Entry $4.00 per person. No extra cost to enter your car. Lots of trophies on offer. Judging commences at 10:30am. Trophy presentation 2pm.

Sunday 3rd November 2019   CANBERRA SWAP MEET 7am to 2pm Exibition Park in Canberra (EPIC) Northbourne Avenue entrance to Fitzroy & Mallee pavilions at northern end behind the Caltex servo. Entry $5 for adults, children under 12 free. To book site, Email 2019swapmeet@vvcmcc.org
